are you really a true k-pop fans? @ fascinating korea

ok..this might be too much but reality was right before us…before all of this hallyu struck malaysia,or at least struck me,i did ask myself this question..”am i being honest to myself?will i ever be their true fans?will i always support them?”

because,as for me..i always took things seriously..for me,everything is too precious to be played with…and i reckon everybody knew that..i started to involved in this phenomenon on december 2009..i knew it was early..one year and half i’ve been following news bout all k-pop stars..

but,in that time also,i decided to be a true fan..i want to love their talent and ability sincerely without paying attention based on their looks..of course appearance is important..i don’t deny that..but talent and ability surpass their looks..their determination inspired me..even it sound funny and foolish, but i knew most of true fans will know what i meant..

you will become anxious and excited to succeed in your life and become like them even you were studying or working in different areas…you want people to recognize you and say you become a part of their life..and all these idols and stars have achieved that..they have inspired you in unique and certain ways…

so,i decide i have to learn about them..malay proverbs has said,”how can you love someone that you didn’t even know?”..and the more i learned,it wowed me…and to take it to another level,i tried learning korean all by myself..through internet, videos and more..and now,i can read korean…i knew this will also benefit me in other way..now i have my third language..i was thrilled..

i tried to learn more..i learned about their culture, manners and traditional clothes..i even tried to learn their history of building such a a wonderful country…their wars and passion help them achieve their independence from japan..i adore that..

with the help from this knowledge,i learn to love them more..because i knew their background and personals..i despise those who claim themselves as true k-pop lovers and the only things they knew was the appearance of these idols..some didn’t even knew their favorite idol’s name..

despite all this,i knew there were a lot of k-pop true fans out there..gazillions of them..please continue your love and support for them..

    ❤ ❤ ❤

FOR THOSE WHO STILL WONDERING WHAT IS ASASI?DIPLOMA?OR MATRIKULASI? HERE IS THE ANSWER!!!!!!

    Matrikulasi KPM

Umpamanya Universiti Malaya (UM) mempunyai 7 program asasi iaitu Asasi Sains Hayat, Asasi Sains Fizikal, Asasi Alam Bina, Asasi Pendidikan Islam, Asasi Syariah, Asasi Usuluddin dan Asasi Pengajian Islam Dengan Sains.

    vanilla cupcakes recipe

1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

2/3 cup (130 grams) granulated white sugar

    3 large eggs

    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Zest of 1 large lemon (outer yellow skin)

1 1/2 cups (195 grams) all purpose flour

    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/4 cup (60 ml) milk

    Buttercream Frosting:

2 cups (230 grams) confectioners sugar (icing or powdered sugar), sifted

1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2 tablespoons milk or light cream

    Assorted food colors (if desired)

Vanilla Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) and line 12 muffin cups with paper liners.

In the bowl of your electric mixer, or with a hand mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.

In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour mixture and milk, in three additions, beginning and ending with the flour. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Evenly fill the muffin cups with the batter and bake for about 17 – 20 minutes or just until set and a toothpick inserted into a cupcake comes out clean. (Do not over bake or the cupcakes will be dry.) Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool. Once the cupcakes have completely cooled, frost with icing. If you want flat topped cupcakes then slice off the dome of each cupcake, with a sharp knife, before frosting. If you want to pipe the frosting, I like to use a large Wilton 1M star decorating tip. Cupcakes are best eaten the same day they are made, but they can be covered and stored for a few days.

Buttercream Frosting: In an electric mixer, or with a hand mixer, cream the butter until smooth and well blended. Add the vanilla extract. With the mixer on low speed, gradually beat in the sugar. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add the milk and beat on high speed until frosting is light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes). Add a little more milk or sugar, if needed. Tint the frosting with desired food color (I use the paste food coloring that is available at cake decorating stores and party stores).

    Makes about 12 cupcakes

chocolate chip cookies recipe, easy and simple

1 cup (2 sticks) (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated white sugar

3/4 cup (160 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar

    2 large eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

    2 1/4 cups (295 grams) all-purpose flour

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups (270 grams) semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup (100 grams) walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped (optional)

Chocolate Chip Cookies: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) with rack in center of oven. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), beat the butter until smooth and creamy. Add the white and brown sugars and beat until fluffy (about 2 minutes). Beat in eggs, one at a time, making sure to beat well after each addition. Add the vanilla and beat until incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and beat until incorporated, adding the chocolate chips and nuts (if using) about half way through mixing. If you find the dough very soft, cover and refrigerate until firm (from 30 minutes to two hours).

For large cookies, use about a 2 tablespoon ice cream scoop or with two spoons, drop about 2 tablespoons of dough (35 grams) onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake about 10 – 14 minutes , or until golden brown around the edges. Cool completely on wire rack.

Makes about 4 dozen – 3 inch round cookies.

Note: You can freeze this dough. Form the dough into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze and then place the balls of dough in a plastic bag, seal, and freeze. When baking, simply place the frozen balls of dough on a baking sheet and bake as directed – may have to increase baking time a few minutes.

    happy trying!!!

credits goes to : joy of baking

gemilang : malay best drama 2011???

okay, when i heard somebody talked about malay drama,i was sceptical..sorry,i’m proud of who i am and where i came from..it just that,i knew that i can count with fingers when it comes to malay drama that has quality side of it and the most important thing was originality..please guys, don’t deny the fact…

as we all know, khabir bhatia was one of the greatest drama director these days..i admit it and salute for you mr. khabir!!!you always came out with a great idea on how to attract viewers without keeping them bored..and especially when he came with great supporter, his own wife,a successful scriptwriter…

gemilang started in early of this year manage to attract viewers, including me, no matter emotionally or mentally..i was impressed…it was hard to attract viewers nowadays including me of course which prefers dramas from countries like u.s.a,japan and south korea…these countries never failed to come with new stories that touched people’s heart…

i loved how gemilang made me think and remember the old me,the old family, the traditional house and old antique furniture…i loved how this drama made my dad and mom laughed when they talked about their precious memories…anymore than that,no words can describe..only tears loyally accompany me on every single episode of gemilang starting from the first episode..lastly,thank you khabir bhatia for touching each and every malaysian’s heart..thank you
